Electrodialysis Desalination System (ED2)

Water desalination by ED is achieved by transporting water through ion selective cation and anion membranes under the influence of an electrical potential. Waters requiring desalinization require pretreatment to meet the stringent water chemistry specifications of the ED and RO systems. prior to desalination water may require softening, pH adjustment, reduction in metals and/or removal of hydrocarbons.

Clearflow has transportable pretreatment systems that can reduce these chemical components prior to the ED or other industrial or water treatment processes.
