Water Clarification

Environmental issues continue to increase as both industry and population grow. Consequently, the quality of the water that is discharged back into the environment by human activities is of great importance. To help maintain water quality, issues can be controlled by treatment with Clearflow products and the PR5 Water Treatment System.

Polymer molecules dissolve slowly in flowing water forming floc and chelates which then drop to the basin bottom, allowing for optimized water clairfication of the waters that are safelty discharged back into the receiving waters. When used according to our recommendations, the Water Lynx polymer blocks are non-toxic and environmentally safe, so they may be used IN SITU and discharged to sensitive environmental ecosystems.

Clearflow Water Lynx polymer blocks and Floc Logs do not require any additional equipment or onsite power to dispense the product. Turbid stormwater or process water simply passes over the polymer blocks to release the polymer into the waters.

The PR5 Water Treatment System can also utilize a similar clarification technique and has the option of being portable and autmoated to accomodate the needs of the site. The water slowly dissolves the polymer blend, such that if flow rate naturally decreases the rate at which the polymer dissolves into the surrounding water also decreases.
