Erosion Control
Not only can soil erosion be costly to repair, but it also can be costly to the environment. Erosion of topsoil reduces plant growth and removes valuable nutrients. The soil particles can enter natural water systems and block sunlight from reaching plants and bury animals that live at the bottom of the stream. Chemicals that associate with the soil particles, such as nutrients and pesticides, can cause algal blooms that suffocate aquatic life or other toxic effects. Because of this, government regulatory bodies can deny / suspend permits and apply fines if erosion control issues are not dealt with, not to mention the work and expense incurred by an organization required to undo the damage.

Application of Soil Lynx to a raw slope helps bind the soil particles together, greatly reducing erosion while still maintaining excellent water infiltration into the soil. When used on areas of high flow or on steep slopes, erosion Best Management Practices (BMPs) such as soft armoring must be implemented; using jute, coir, coconut or other natural blankets. If the slope is also treated with hydroseed mix, grass will establish itself much faster than with hydroseed alone and create a natural, long-lasting method of erosion control.
ClearFlow can greatly reduce the amount of erosion and impact to the eco-system. Our site-specific evaluation will determine the best solution for your needs, and greatly reduce environmental impacts and associated costs.
